Xenophobia attack on foreign personnel in southern African is not an issue which should be taken lightly on. But on this particular scenery when the cause is yet to be known tends to be shady. And this made me not be in a haste to attack or concluded till i get my facts together.
I had to make a call to a Nigerian friend living in southern African to acertain the reason behind the attack because their no smoke without a fire. She explain that the cause of the turmoil is the agitation of the southern citizens on its government reason being the state of unemployment among its citizens. That government have left its citizens and favors foreign national in employment. She further explained that am S/A citizen with a WASSEC certificate is graded more and considered for employment than a foreign national with a degree. Then my question is what went wrong? if this is true. I had to affirm this calm.
Later i saw a post from a human right activist saying tha SA is a home for all while stressing tha SA has lost the core of its fabric.The SA ambassador to Nigeria said the attack was a general attack that it affected the business of not only foreign national and also its citizens. Lucky i saw a video on IG pagan Ghanacelebrity where an angry dude was ranting that foreign national enter their country make money than them drive expensive cars and chop their woman that it won't continue..is this not crazy. Now shanti an SA dancer reprimend her people say its because of envy and jealousy. While Ebenezer subi a Nigerian inhabiting in pretoria SA sent a video of a SA citizen confessing that the reason behind the turmoil in SA against Nigerian is that a taxi driver was shot while trying to stop the sell of illict drug (yahoo pay) in his country by a Tanzanian. And all black foreigners identified in SA calms they are Nigerian, then Nigerian has to go for the fall. Understand that am not against the action of the taxi driver trying to be a patriotic citizen but my anger here is that it's the SA citizen that patronise them.
Now in all these, is the government so weak that it can't stop its citizens from vandalising human property both its citizens and foreigners and killing of innocent people.both parties is now affected both SA and other foreign national and other country are cutting ties they have with SA because of the act. And i end here by saying when an individual cook for the masses it's not always enough, but when the masses cook for an individual she must have a running stomach. @president Cyril Ramaphosa you fully understand the implications of the act of your citizens to both in African and the world at large and i hope you will take the necessary measures to put an end to such an in human act before it destorys the face of SA in the world and crumbles the economy.
